These precise, compact and low friction planetary gearboxes are designed specifically for AXI outrunner motors. The 4:1 gearboxes are designed specially for AXI 2814/20/26 brushless motors with 5mm shaft. The 3.1:1 gearboxes are designed especially for AXI 2212/17 brushless motors with 3.2mm shaft. The AXI planetary gearbox together with its motor creates a compact and powerful unit which is especially suited for large gliders and models with a narrow fuselage. Gearboxes are designed and manufactured using CAD/CAM technology to guarantee maximum accuracy and best performance. The main body and planetary gear carrier are machined from hardened aluminum. Its accurate, bronze gear ring is pressed into the main gearbox body. The pinion and planetary gears are machined from steel. The hardened, steel output shaft is mounted in two large ball bearings which provide high load tolerances and long service life.

The planetary 3.1:1 gearboxes are suitable for power of up to 350W and the 4:1, up to 1200W peak power.
