High performance, free flight construction experience is evident in the Dreamline series of electric sailplanes. It is obvious that the Dreamline designers know how to make a very strong and extremely light structure. With strong roots in free flight techniques, the manufacturer is able to build an under-cambered structure with accuracy of molded wing. First, the fiberglass hollow molded wing is accurately created in a CNC mold. Once the wing is removed a CNC machine is used to cut out the center. Then, transition balsa ribs are added for stiffness and accuracy. The rear of the D-box is then faced with some light balsa shear webbing. This construction technique gives you a nearly perfect airfoil shape at the leading edge. Remember, this is the most important part of a wing. Even the tail parts are built using revolutionary techniques and materials. The super-light tail parts are created using Depron that is fully fiberglased and reinforced with strips of carbon fiber. The elegant Carbon Fiber/Kevlar fuselage with molded-in firewall completes the package. The result is a sailplane of overall superior quality. . This fully built sailplane needs only basic assembly. You can go from box to sky in just a few evenings.
