Are you looking for a 3D/Pattern capable plane that still flies like a model should? The Rio, produced by TopModel, is an excellent choice. This is not just another electric conversion. The Rio was designed from the ground up for electric power. Super light fuselage with built-in cooling vents. Its longer tail moment allows the Rio to smoothly perform big aerobatics. This plane can make an intermediate pilot look great. Constructed of traditional balsa and plywood, the Rio is light and strong. Everything is perfectly covered in Ultracote. The one piece wing is removable for transport. The entire cockpit and top of the fuselage nose comes off in one piece. This gives you plenty of access for battery changes without having to remove the wing. Using the pictorial instructions, you should have this plane ready for flight in a few evenings.
Special Features:
- Control surfaces: Ailerons, Elevator, Rudder
- Hand selected balsa and plywood construction
- Perfectly covered in Ultracote
- Large removable cockpit for easy access
- Complete, pictorial instructions
- One piece, removable wing
- Uses two aileron servos
