In 2004, Extreme Flight RC released the original 50cc Yak 54 ARF. This legendary airframe redefined the meaning of quality and performance in ARF aerobatic aircraft and spawned a wave of imitators that simply missed out on the magic elements of this design. Rather than rest on our laurels and re-release our original design, we gathered all the information gleaned from several years of flying Yaks and teamed with modern day CAD master designer Mike Hall to create what we believe is our best release to date. Considerably bigger than our original Yak and much more scale in appearance, the new Yak-54 features many of the unique design features as two-piece plug-in wing, removable stabilizer mounted on a carbon tube, double truss composite control horns, ball links, spring loaded hatch latch to provide instantaneous access to the interior of the fuselage, and professionally finished very light weight fiberglass pre-painted cowl and wheel pants. The Yak 54 also includes a premium hardware package to get you in the air fast with components you can trust. As with all of Extreme Flight's models, flight performance is second to none! Expert engineering has allowed them to create a very light yet robust airframe that excels at 3D and precision aerobatics.
