Based on the legendary Kadet series, the Kadet EP-42B was conceived from the ground up as the very definition of an R/C electric trainer. Over-size wing area with a flat bottom high lift airfoil, helps to prevent unexpected stalls and ever-tightening spins. The "tail dragger" configuration, coupled with a long tail moment, allows instructors to teach the fundamentals of aileron and rudder inputs, without over-control problems. In the air, the Kadet EP-42B has a large speed envelope, allowing it to be flown as slowly as needed for beginning pilots. The efficient factory installed direct drive RCS Simplex3D brushless motor and 18A ESC with 8 1/2 x 8 propeller is quiet, powerful and fully capable of flying the Kadet EP-42B smoothly through most any normal wind condition, for more performance we highly recommend upgrading to brushless power system. Flight orientation is greatly enhanced with the high-visibility two-tone color scheme.
