Collision detection that's unparalleled.
RealFlight G5 uses hundres of sensor points to blanket the entire aircraft. This "Full Coverage" detection technology ensures that every part of an aircraft will not only register a strike, but react authentically. Collisions aren't an all-or-nothing phenomenon. What happens depends on which two objects collide and how hard - a reality you'll appreciate on G5. With reactive 3D object technology, tapping a runway cone may simply tip it over. Hitting a drum may send it rolling. And with RealFlight you see the results of hard collisions in detail. Collide with a tree and you expect leaves to go flying - and they will. Crash a balsa-framed trainer, and pulerized wood dust will billow up from the impact site. Watch large chunks of debris and they may break into smaller pieces as they tumble and bounce away.
