Its all composite, painted-in-the-mold airframe is strong and light. The lightweight, super-strong structure assures superior performance and ultra slow landings. BVM's engineering team has spent over a year developing an integrated power system that will provide +16 lbs. (7265g) of installed static thrust (see Viojett EVF) for a thrilling performance of over 150 mph (240 km/h) or up to 200 mph (320 km/h) with 5212 Fan. The Electra Jet ^TM with EVF propulsion is very impressive. The utter simplicity, quiet operation, model field acceptability, easy transport, and the fact that it flies like sport jets are convincing qualities. We believe that the design point BVM chose provides an excellent balance between take-off thrust and thrust available at 200 mph (320 km/h)!!!!

The low landing speed and zero residual thrust of the EVF (throttle trim down) negate the need for wheel brakes. This saves weight and money.

The new BVM Electra Jet leads the way. Its size and performance have revolutionized the state-of-the-art for an all electric jet models. The Electra Jet ARF has all the same performance and mechanical features of the kit version, but with 90% of the labor to build and finish accomplished for you. Its all composite, painted-in-the-mold airframe is strong and light.

The airframe structure is a combined effort of BVM's USA based tooling and internal parts manufacturing and our Thailand counterpart's laminating, painting, and finishing capabilities. Every Electra ARF is quality controlled at our Florida facility and then repackaged with BVM hardware, plans, and absolutely complete instructions. The fiberglass fuselage and molded fin have strategically placed Carbon Fiber and Kevlar reinforcements. A crystal clear canopy and molded cockpit deck with instrument panel are scale nice adds on. All formers are laser cut for accuracy and a complete color photo enhanced instruction manual and CAD plans are included.

The new ARF mechanical retract operation is smooth and reliable using (2) retract servos. The injection molded Carbon Fiber retract frames and all aluminum machined internal parts provide superior strength. BVM's heavy duty 3/16" (4.75mm) main wire struts with precision axles and Du-Bro wheels complete the landing gear package.


Canopy hatch pulls forward and off exposing the front area.


Power hatch allows quick removal of Battery Packs and access to the EVR.


Nose gear door opening provides retract and Flex Arm access.


Bottom hatch exposes wing mounts, main gear retract servo linkage and elevator servos.
