Pulsar 2.5E (ARF)

Our new Pulsar 2.5E is the newest addition to the ever-growing Pulsar family of hand-made competition "Full House" electric sailplanes. We requested this model as logical step from the smaller 2m Pulsar 2005. The whole model is constructed using free-flight techniques. The wing is a balsa built-up Carbon Fiber/Kevlar D-box design that utilizes carbon fiber faced balsa ribs and carbon fiber trailing edge. The open section of the wing as well as V-tail is covered with UltraCote. The fuselage is made of white gel-coated fiberglass/CF with carbon fiber tapered boom and removable fiberglass/CF nose cone. The 2-piece plug-in V-tail is easily removable with servos installed in the tail parts. The careful use of composites combined with an underlying wood structure in the wing ensures a good light structure that will hold its shape for a long time.
