Fuel Jerry Can Refueling Cap System w/Fittings V3 (Red, Black)

The install video was very good. Insure to practice safety with sharp bits and knives! Sometimes, probs arise for me. I encountered two obstacles. The supplied bit for opening the hole larger, and the fuel can clunk size. The bit made a hole that was much smaller than the aluminum ring that fits into it. Required a lot of carving. Prob due to how the fuel can material contracts during drilling process. Notice that the opening has to provide a snug fit, not loose. The clunk with its O-ring was slightly larger than could fit through the aluminum ring opening. The hole made for the alum ring has to be just snug enough for the ring to stay in its place when inserted. If not, when adding the top assembly, the aluminum ring will just drop down into the can. The clunk’s O-ring was about 1/16” too large. With any effort in pressing in the clunk resulted in the ring falling into the can. Solution? The clunk, the tubing and the ring were all inserted at the same time. That was genius. After about an hour’s work, the can was completed. Field testing comes next. I am very pleased with my purchase. Secraft products are well made, and Esprit Model does a great job shipping to my house sooner than expected.
