One of the most impressive European made sailplanes that we have ever seen, the Pegasus V 2E flies as good as it looks. Gentle, smooth, and very long flights are the standards for this beauty. The careful use of composites with
competition balsa, creates a good light structure that will hold its shape for a long time. The synergy of low weight and strong structure is very unusual in a production sailplane and can only be achieved with careful attention to
design and construction. The entire model is constructed using free-flight techniques. Topmodel uses the latest construction techniques such as CNC milling and laser cutting. The wings as well as V-tail are all balsa built-up with
Carbon Fiber main spare and leading edge. The fuselage is gel-coated fiberglass with carbon fiber tapered tail boom. Whole model is covered with Ultracote. All control surfaces are hinged with adhesive tape. This fully built sailplane
needs only basic assembly and motor/radio installation. The two piece wing is easily removable for transport and storage. Each part is carefully hand-crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Value is simply incredible.
Great starting competition F5J/LMR (Limited Motor Run) or ALES (Altitude Limited Electric Soaring) electric sailplane.

When I bought and got this built, It was late Oct.2023, So really did not have any thermals, However I Love flying this bird, And to have it come down so slow you can catch it in your hand is Awesome. My last review I stated I used a 1300 3s, I meant a 1300 2S! This remains to be one of the best flying planes in my fleet, can't wait to catch a nice summer thermal this year. Thanks Guys!

I purchased this kit with the Sport motor, And the prop and spinner, The build was A bit tough at times But a few phone talks with the guys here got me through. Flies Excellent on a 1300 3s battery. It is a beauty in the air and is very responsive. I have it set up for Crow braking and it floats right down, Love it! My Go To Sailplane Now. Thanks Guys!

Glad I Chose This Sailplane

This sailplane has an excellent rate of climb, good flying appearance, and a light, floaty, ability to maintain altitude.
I’ve shared flying time with other pilots who are also pleased with its performance.
Fellow pilots give my model high marks for good factory workmanship and stylish appearance.
I ordered “Suggested Equipment (Sport)” with the model. All the recommended components seem to be of excellent quality and well-fitted for this model.
I’m glad I ordered “Building Services (Sailplane Firewall Installation)”. The workmanship for this service was good. The firewall was solidly and neatly installed. When I installed the motor, the spinner aligned neatly with the fuselage.
The build went fine.
The model is rightfully classified as an ARF, but the remaining steps constitute more than simple assembly. You’ll be cutting a variety of slots, drilling a few holes, and making some decisions based on personal preference, to produce a good setup for your gear.
As the build progressed, I gained appreciation for the included horns, clevises, rods, etc. I think what's provided is just right.
The model turned out feather-light. It was easy to attain the recommended center of gravity with no added weight.
No complaints. Just delight.
If I were doing this again, I would choose the same model and accessories.
