Sweet Sport 1.8E Electric Sailplane (ARF)

Sweet Sport is excellent introduction to the exciting world of soaring and another addition to the family of small affordable sailplanes. This model is an incredibly well rounded, stable and predictable flyer, suitable for experienced beginners as well as advanced pilots. The synergy of low weight and strong structure is very unusual in a production sailplane and can only be achieved with careful attention to design and construction. The entire model is constructed using free-flight techniques. European Topmodel uses the latest construction techniques such as CNC milling and laser cutting. The wings as well as standard tail are all balsa/ply built-up. The fuselage is gel-coated fiberglass with carbon fiber tapered tail boom. Whole model is covered with Ultracote. All control surfaces are hinged with adhesive tape. This fully built sailplane needs only basic assembly and motor/radio installation. The three piece wing is easily removable for transport and storage. If you are looking for an introduction to the world of thermal soaring then this is the plane for you.
