Thermik Dream with its beautiful T-tail and elegant, tapered leading edge wings is simply breath-taking to watch as it thermals almost out of sight at your favorite field. This plane is an incredibly well rounded, stable and predictable flyer, suitable for experienced beginners as well as advanced pilots. With its fiberglass fuselage and its fiberglass reinforced, balsa sheeted foam core wings this model can handle most moderate aerobatics. The careful use of composites with competition balsa, creates a good light structure that will hold its shape for a long time. The synergy of low weight and strong structure is very unusual in a production sailplane and can only be achieved with careful attention to design and construction. This model is considered one of the best values on the market today. Each part is carefully hand-crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Thermik Dream is considered one of the best values on the market today.

Thermik Dream 3E - Outstanding!

Wow! This is a beautiful flagship. Sleek, solid, and gorgeous. Packaging was perfect and not one scratch or dent. The build was amazing and I had no issues. Take your time on the stab to get the incidence correct. I did use tri-stock to mount the servo in the fin. Don’t be shy here as this is a critical area of stress, so make it strong. I did not glue the back plate to the fin. I hate to do something permanent. I glued 3 small blocks crossways in the fin and then used small wood screws to attach the back plate to the blocks. Now you can get in there by just releasing the rudder servo arm and removing the back plate. Paint the plate white. My Setup: Mvvs 5.6/690kv motor, BB spinner with Aeronaut 15x10 CAM prop, E-Flite pro 60a ESC, G-Force 4s 4000mah lipo, AR8000 receiver with TM1000 telemetry unit for battery voltage, altitude, and motor temp. DX8 radio with 4 flight modes. I used Espirit’s recommended servo setup. This setup will pull about 800 watts. No weight was needed to balance with this setup and there is plenty of room to move the battery forward and aft to get CG correct. The climb out is perfect and she goes straight up with authority. At 1300ft I had no problem visually or with orientation. Mine came with inboard wing white on bottom and outboard wings red on bottom (a little different than the pics). VERY easy to see. She is a big bird, but she hangs up there like a gull. In full camber she thermals quite well for her size and turns nicely with the rudder. Reflex/speed will get you searching very well. Here is the best part, in crow she lands so slow! I have not walked more than 10ft in 25 flights. This is one top quality constructed model. This was my first Top Model plane and I am blown away. I have since bought Pegasus 2E ALES (see my review). I am sold on Top Model. Thank you Espirit for selling these Top Models!!!

What an awesome thermal plane. With the right power setup, this plane will climb like a rocket ship and thermal forever. I'll never forget my first.
